We are just a couple of college students from Southern California. Graduation is right around the corner for us, and we realized that even though college was great, we had no idea what to expect when we first got to campus. We soon figured that at least some of the millions of students applying to college every year had to have questions about the universities they are interested in.
Fortunately, the unlikely pairing of a film major from USC and an accounting major from Claremont McKenna dedicated an entire summer to building AskAboutCollege. In September of 2007, we officially launched and were astounded by the thousands of college students who signed up to volunteer their time by answering questions about their college campus. Each day we work to improve the site and share it with other students across the country (unless we have midterms the next day).
Every student is unique and is much more than a statistic. That is why AskAboutCollege was designed to be the only free college resource that addresses the individual questions or concerns of every individual student who wants to go to college. We hope you'll take advantage of AskAboutCollege and use it as a tool to help select the right college for YOU.
